Formerly a partner in a general law practice, she dealt with everything from the breakdown of relationships to moving house. The issues encountered each day remain the key factors in our lives: namely, love, family and money. |

Since turning to freelance writing, features have appeared in major national publications worldwide including those owned by Time, Meredith, Rodale and Emap. Published clips include features for The Observer, Men's Health, Practical Parenting and The Investors Chronicle across a broad range of topics. |
|
One feature for Hemispheres magazine has been proposed for the prestigious James Beard Foundation Award for culinary journalism.
Particular areas of interest include travel, business / finance, family, women's issues, history and humour but she is able to research and write across a much broader range of topics including commercial copy.
The legal profession taught her to be analytical, to research thoroughly, work to tight deadlines and be highly organized and motivated. A broad clientele encouraged good communication skills and the ability to illustrate a point on many different levels, depending on the target audience.
As well as writing articles Elaine is also building a range of ebooks for the professional, the enthusiast or anyone wanting to access information in an innovative and exciting way. For more information go to our sister site, Book About or search for ebooks by Elaine Saunders on Lulu.
